Sisterlocks creates a stable, woven, framework in a lock of hair within which the natural interlocking process can take place. Therefore, sisterlocks will not damage or thin your hair, this process makes the locks stronger. This is why the locks can be made extremely small yet grow strong, long and beautiful.  

Sisterlocks technique simply takes advantage of your natural curl pattern and creates your locks with a patented tool.   Sisterlocks and Brotherlocks are offered as a Package that includes three (3) visits.

The day has finally arrived for you to sit with a Sisterlock Consultant. 

Below are a few things you should do and know prior to your appointment.

During this session you and your Consultant will discuss your personal hair care history, your styling preferences and your lifestyle in order to determine if   Sisterlocks™ is right for you. You will also have a cluster of approximately 8 - 12 "SAMPLE LOCKS" put in your hair to see if they will hold, check sizes, verify the amount of scalp showing, settling-in time, etc. This consultation is essential for both you and your Consultant to ensure you get your  Sisterlocks™ done in the most suitable way.  

 Bring a reader and snacks because the locking process can take from 20 hours or even longer in most cases. The average  Sisterlocks™  client will leave this session with an average of 250 locks and a whole new attitude! You will be provided a "Starter Kit" that includes the proper shampoo for starting your locks, tiny rubber bands and "tip sheets" on grooming and shampooing, among other things as your locks settle in.  

Sisterlocks™  Retightenings and Follow-Up is the most important process of your Sisterlocks™   journey. After you have made the commitment and investment in  Sisterlocks™ , it is mandatory that you protect your investment. You protect your investment in Sisterlocks™   by regularly scheduled maintenance and follow up.    I will be able to determine how often you will need to  come in for re-tightenings. The average time between visits is 4-6 weeks,  depending on the amount of slippage and rate of the hair growth.  

Transfer Clients retightening , repairs and/or reconstruction of locs will require a consultation.

Sisterlocks™ hairstyles are created to make your everyday styling less complicated.  They allow you to spend some time and money on other things so you can forget about the hairstyling hassle for a long while. They are tiny and light in weight which allows more versatility for styling.
